Southeastern Central Park Hawk-watching from above again - March 15th, 2013

I got to spend time enjoying the fantastic views of Central Park from the same office building as yesterday.

Plaza Male (?) swooping near the Plaza Hotel:

I watched the same Hawk fly above the southeastern section of Central Park for an hour and a half today. I assume it was the Plaza Male considering the territory it was flying over (and with such seeming familiarity).

Landing on the Sherry-Netherland Hotel:

Flying past the Pierre:

Back to the Pierre:

The Hawk perched there for a while so I went down to street level to hang out in the park in general.

I saw the Plaza Male come in for a landing on The Plaza when I arrived.

Great Blue Heron perched at Hallett Nature Sanctuary (outside the pond):

The Plaza Male then hopped off the hotel and flew further northeast:

Past the Pierre:

Back to The Plaza:
